So I did made them as a real font ( 1 as ttf and 1 as otf)
That's clever
how did you do it?
I've Never made a font, it was quite epic...
Tried with Birdfont (sudo apt install birdfont) => cannot recognize svg or path properly not user friendly at all even if it looks alike and is beautiful, I spent to much time on it for nothing
Then I tried with fontforge (sudo apt install fontforge) => it was worse, I always got error importing svg "Your SVG has features that are not supported or blablabla"
Then I discovered >
https://www.calligraphr.com (I used a 10 minute email to register, the free version has few limitation, but for what I need it was way more than I could have hope)
Then from that moment, everything went smooth, chose the letter you want, download their template > import in GIMP inside the skinnyhouse XCF > invert all letters color (to be black) > put each letter in its place on the different template > reduce each letter to 500 pixels > Export as png > upload on the website > download your fonts > got error as each letter have a hole inside
Go back to GIMP > Reduce each letter and character to 350 pixels height > upload to server > make font download > yeesss (although the H has a hole, so I think the layer character should be at 300 pixels, but it's ok for me)
Tip a template works only for the chosen characters, add 1 more character to your list -> need to download a new template
My template was the max size (they have 3 sizes to chose from)
the final .xcf I made wwith the templates
