I tried the gimper66 tutorial (http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?p=260336#p260336) by modifying so that the light comes from the left. But I would have liked the shadow to be darker in the part near the text "Gimp ".
So I tried several things, with a gradient but I'm not a friend with the gradients, and also a long shadow but it was not successful so I gave up on that idea.How could I have done?

Level_0 - a couple of comments here for you.

Firstly the shadow of the text currently extends over your gradient background, which is progressively darker towards the bottom right of the image, i.e. the direction of the shadow. Not sure what opacity level you have used on the shadow itself, but it is obviously impacted by that darkening background and the light direction you have chosen.

Secondly you could try to select the shadow and then, with black foreground colour selected, use the foreground to transparent gradient, dragging the cursor from top left to bottom right far enough to get the effect you want closer to the text itself by adjusting its opacity level. But that progressively darkening background will still come into play and the shadow may then look a bit uneven and strange .

Wanting to answer you, I clicked to open 3 projects and Gimp crashed. I recorded the Bug information on the Desktop but I did not continue what was indicated ...Maybe because I already had 5 open projects?
In short then I only found the later projects and not the first one. I don't think I deleted it but yesterday I was very tired because I have been sleep very badly.
I think I used voronoi rather than skeleton in the first image before DIEGO DRAWING P.
