OK; been wanting to see if I can use ghost (G'MIC) to render something and that along with some help with FotoSketcher got me this result. :)

Beautiful tile-work. Combining techniques from the Persian Empire and China with western art.
Recently, on the internet, I came across pictures of the Orthodox Vank Cathedral in Isfahan, Iran which is also an incredible example of the fusion of eastern and western art.
