Skinnyhouse is the go-to custom font creator.
I'm sure creating this would be a piece of cake for him.
Maybe if I had added bread, lettuce, tomatoes,
bacon and dressing, it might have amounted to something a bit more.

:hehe

Thanks guys.
Pretty settled on two rotation options now.
Obviously heavy on memory resources but (didn't actually time it) not an overly long time to draw.
Need to investigate things like pre-scaling and blur methods to improve current edge appearance.

That is always hard on memory..THE Blur. :) Hard to manage in FF as well. I only asked how long because i thought maybe your tomatoes grew a bit whilst it was hammering out. :rofl

On another note.
Can you remember this one? (If you can't see it, it is because it is an APNG animation).

HINT! The answer is in the title of the image. :)

That's certainly a blast from the past.

Sorry to take over the thread with this but since Rod asked...

Couple of progress images to show scaling (the difference in blur is mostly due to the temporary blur used - work to do there next)

Firstly a screenshot (so the user path is visible) after using a full turn rotation along the user path at full size:

and a second screenshot with the scaling set to 50%:

Fixed the Old Stone script. :)
Just changed the bump map ambience variable range from 255 to 1.0.

Attachment:
Old-Stone_RD.png
Old-Stone_RD.png [ 317.52 KiB | Viewed 539 times ]
Running it throws an error for #11. It no longer supports 0 - 255.
Now the supported range is 0 - 1.0

If you run the filter now with the settings as they are as default.

You place in your scripts folder and refresh scripts or start Gimp.
This fix is for the latest PDB calls in Gimp-2.10.32. Earlier versions may not need it fixed.
You will find the filter under Text Effects in your image window.

I have found more that are going to throw errors as well. I'll fix and attach them as i go.
However i will post them in Gimp Scripts and Plugins.

Nice job Rod...
the more texture effects the better.

Scaling and blur done now - just a tidy up and help sheets and examples to do.

Here is my latest text effect. Surprising how one thing can change it!
Text was done just using a light brown gradient to colour. Then I did all the outer/inner bevel + emboss. I ran recursive transform to get the extra layers. Last of all I added a lighting effects bump and it turned almost metalic looking.
