Shame that this teddy bear did not even make it into the clearance sale.

I love your cartoon people. Your business man has great shading on his face and hands, it that all hand painted?

Teapot - thank you for your kind comments; yes, as with my 'artistic portraits' of real people, all the cartoon business ladies and this first cartoon business man are hand painted. I do use a reference photo/image and of course I use brush dynamics, paths for shaping/stroking and some filters like Gaussian Blur.

Just finished this new cartoon business man and could not resist posting it straight away. Meet Yamoto Omgori, a young, modern, business executive from Japan.

I was just 'doodling', playing with some GMIC filters I had not used previously - obtained some interesting outcomes from Samj's 'Barbouillage Paint Daub'. Used it first on a stroked paths canvas, then on one of my sketch portraits of Joanna Lumley.

Wallace - thank you; I especially appreciate such words coming from you :)

WOW, I don't think that thought would ever have crossed my mind! Really a good representation of the comment.

You're welcome OMG.
I enjoy seeing what you create and it often times inspires me to create as well.
In that sense, thank you.

Taking some inspiration from one of Dinasset's latest filters, I played with 'map to object (sphere)' in this photo I took of sunset near Adele Island off the Kimberley coast in western Australia.
