Diego - thanks for commenting; for all non Aussies, snow gums (Eucalyptus pauciflora) are large trees, common in the alpine areas of Australia.

Tantra is a 'cartoon' character I created and have posted her previously in a different guise; she is a free spirit of the universe and changes her appearance sometimes in subtle ways but even dramatically at whim. Here she has returned from planet Grün having adopted certain local features

I was brought up in England in rather austere conditions just after WW2. My parents told me that after 'that war' there would be everlasting peace. Seventy years on and things still do not look like they promised me (
