Really fine and beautiful creations, OMG. It's so pleasant to see them with delicate colours, too.

It is either sunrise on the east coast or sunset on the west coast of Australia, but just a typical coastal scene, a large moored yacht, some returning sea eagles and, of course, the obligatory kangaroo hopping along the beach.

Back to where clear glass started for me a few years back with Brumbies (wild horses). Here is one by the Ord River.

It's always a pleasure to see your glass brumbies. I learned so much from your technique and you helped me so much.
Thanks OMG, for sharing such fine outcomes. :clap

Issabella - thank you very much; if there is such a thing as a GC legacy, for me it will probably be 'clear glass' :cool

Here are two monks at the Nan Tien temple in Wollongong.

OMG, did you update somehow the procedure to create those fantastic glass monks?
They look to me very good (and better than other subjects seen in the past).
If so, maybe you can re-post your tutorial.

Level_0 - thank you.

Diego - thanks. Trust your eagle eyes to identify some differences. Yes for the last few 'clear glass' images posted in May, I have been trying out/experimenting with the original model (i.e the old tutorial method from way back) to obtain better results against multi/different colour backgrounds.

Because these images use 'line art' to define their original shapes I was looking to improve the way I treat that element too. You may notice in the monk's image, that the one on the right has darker lines than the one on the left. It's a combination of clear glass or black glass, copies and different blend modes. These monk sketches had more shape defining lines than previous source images I have used.

Also I'm experimenting with the brightness/contrast of the background versus that of the cut out shape from it, used in conjunction with the actual 'glass' output from BRL.

Work in progress right now, but I will keep you informed - it may well be a ''horses for courses'' approach for each glass image and background with options allowing tweaking to user preference.

I've previously done both sketch and artistic portraits of Ash Barty, now here is a glass one too.

Issabella - thank you :)

When visiting Japan I was impressed by a number of large Buddha statues; if you you visit the mountains behind Tokyo you might see this one.

Diego - thank you; just playing with quick delivery images whilst I labour on my latest portrait :)

Here is another glass mixture featuring from the centre outwards, clear shaped glass, thick plain, clear glass sheet, frosted, semi opaque glass and dark acid etched glass on the perimeter.
