I love this pic of my daughter Brittany, but knew the arm in the background had to go. Then I decided I would attempt to smooth out her skin and enhance her eyes. This is the before and after. I know eyelashes look a little over done but looked great when I printed it out.

Sorry, but I much prefer the "before" picture. The "after" one looks very artificial, with a plastic-like skin. And you somehow managed to distort the picture vertically: in the original picture the pupils and the tip of the nose are in an equilateral triangle; while; in the "after" picture, the equilateral triangle with a side across the pupils is almost on the mouth.

I actually think the effect you got on the picture is pretty cool.

I agree with ofnuts on the aspect ratio. It got stretched out of proportion when you resized.

Yeah I am really struggling with to resize a picture without distorting it. I clicked the little chain when I resized so I don't know.

If you scale an image using the "Scale tool" :scale and you click on the chain and it separates, you will be able to scale the image in all directions without keeping it in proportion.

If the chain in unbroken, the image will remain in proportion as you scale it.

Make note of the chain in both "Scale Tool" dialogs.

I like the Waterpaint effect and the scaling problem is easy to fix
