I love all you work Merrak, The colors are very nice in this one but one part bothers me, and it is at the top right. Shouldn't those trees or mountains be faded out instead of cut off? Maybe it is just my eyes that makes me think something is missing there.

Druid's Realm

Beautiful scenery. :bigthup
I tried to find some camouflaged cat in the picture.

Excellent work Merrak! :paint :clap

Thanks :)

I see what you mean -- It didn't look weird to me until you showed me that part with the rest cropped out, and now it does look a bit empty. Shouldn't be too hard to fill that in a bit more :hehe

No cat this time... but maybe that's what needs to go in the void Molly pointed out

Oops.. I should fix the copyright message--although people here have tinkered with my drawings before, and I've always enjoyed seeing what they came up with when they did.

Merrak,
Really the original painting is excellent with any filter, and it is impossible to not experience any of them. :gaah

I hope you enjoy this result! :spock

Thank you Molly! :bigthup
Only use filters. Can be reproduced with a few clicks.
The essence is in the original image that inspires our imagination and requires a real talent to be obtained. :paint

Updated! Added some fainter trees in the background, over the waterfall.

Neat! What filter did you use? I like what it did to the tree leaves.

Thank you! :hi5
I used Ink Wash (G'MIC) of photocomic - Thread Link
Multiply the applied layer (g'mic) on the original.

I know you said ... no cats this time. But whenever I look at a point of the image, I always see a cat there. :cu
You may be your subconscious ...

That is so funny akros, I know Merrak loves cats, now he is hiding them in his trees.
BTW, I love the oval egg, it is very effective.

No cats this time. :(

I might have to go back and sneak one in. I completely forgot to put one in, although I'm not sure if there are any good hiding spots.
