Thanks for the nice comments everyone. I would still like molly's spaghetti dish!

Ella Louise and anyone interested, the recipe may be found here: http://www.psd-dude.com/tutorials/photo ... p-tutorial

I had to convert some of the ps patterns (pie crust and strawberry filling) and so they are attached below. Bake some better pies everyone!

Hmmm dessert!
After the Molly's spaghetti, a pie goes great! :pizza
I could not do a tutorial ... these would starve.

Dalia your result with Gimp is perfect! A delight!
Thanks for the link, that site has some good tutorials! :bigthup

Akros! Perfect! I'm afraid I can't do this one either for the same reasons Issabella might not want to attempt it.

Looks great, and yes very yummy. I just ate some lemon pie though so it will have to wait. :)
I would love to see the tutorial on this effect though! Thanks for sharing the results.

Hi Rod - I wouldn't even call this a ps to Gimp conversion. If you use layerfx.py and use his values (as best you can - the depth value and contour used is always the problem) it works.

Give it a try - I'm sure everyone here can do a lot better than I did.
