I left the space below the divider on the template transparent as I thought maybe it needed to be, if it needs colour in this area I can add this ?

Here is my try, it shows the bats and spiders having a feeding frenzy, and the resultant skull remains, and for Happy Halloween dreams

The banners which include animation are really nice, but I don't think GC supports those type of files as banners.

I can incorporate an animated banner but there are some caveats. Because of color shifts that occur when using gifs, I'll probably have to place the banner in front of the blue divider so the divider should not be part of the animated banner image.This should not really a problem, though. As long as all other areas not part of the banner are left transparent, a gif banner should blend seamlessly into the header.

Also, ensure that the animated gif banner doesn't have too many frames, which would make it too large and prohibitive for use as a banner. I think the ones posted so far will be fine.

I'll be putting up the Halloween banners over the weekend.
