Yes! It's a Steinway piano logo.

Thanks Odin.
It wasn't very difficult to do. I'll see about putting together a video tutorial in the next few days.
I wish I would have saved the XCF file on this one.

Nice! ;)

Did you get inspired with the piano keyboard "moving and cloning" question I asked some weeks ago? ;)

Thanks.
That's a good question Dietmar. :puzzled
I wish I could say that was the case, but I can't seem to remember that question you're referring to.
This is the thread that sparked the idea for my Steinway logo... viewtopic.php?f=4&t=11905#p160992
I did create an animated piano key brush and thought I'd try it out. It seems to work okay, but it's not a very clean looking brush. I'm not sure if I'll be using it in the upcoming Steinway logo tutorial.

That animated piano key brush I made isn't so hot. It could use some work, but everyone's welcome to it.

Thanks Warrior.
Yeah, I didn't think anything would become of this image and didn't think it was up to my standards. I was really only testing out my piano key brush, which I'm not very pleased with. Anyway... yes that's right I didn't save the xcf file.
The image itself isn't difficult to reproduce, but with that said... any attempt I might make to reproduce it will not be identical, only similar.
I make most if not all my video tutorials "on the fly" so to speak. If I mess things up or do something that not quite right. It's going to be just what it is.
I'm not out to impress anyone by making my videos. I just want people to enjoy creating with Gimp like I do.
I'm not a pro and never will be. I'm an average guy, trying to show the potential that Gimp can have. In hopes that other may learn and not be intimidated by what Gimp, or myself has to offer.

Excellent work again Wallace; 'average guy' maybe but your input - images, supportive posts and tuts - to GC is extremely valuable to those of us wanting to learn. I for one am extremely thankful for it. :bigthup

Thanks OMG.
That is what it should all be about in the first place.
Metaphorically speaking; We're all here to learn, if not... then I feel you're here for the wrong reasons and have some hidden agenda that only you know about.

Like this one too Wallace. Unfortunately, I have no talent to play one of these grands. :)

Thanks Lyle.
I use to play lots of instruments piano included, but can't do to much any longer, due to nerve damage in my hands and arms.
I do still play the harmonica, cowbell and tambourine. :hehe

MORE COWBELL!
A tutorial would be nice, because the general design would work well for all sorts of logos.
