After thinking of all sorts of hearts desires, including winning a big lottery, I decided to go with the most basic of wishes.

It's potentially more fun if you take your time to comment on some of the contributions of others as well as posting your own contribution. No requirement of course, but helps to keep everyone engaged as well as inspires them to comment on your art in turn.

The waterfall one is really creative I think, lots of possible symbolism in that. The ring looks like it has a second jewel embedded inside it, interesting look there.

It's a good one there, cool that you pondered it and arrived at a nice and fundamental desire too. The "balloons" can be said to represent the faces of the happy family as well I suppose.

salllyanne: yep! that's sooo true! i have a busy stretch ahead of me up til my vacation starts and my heart definitely cries out for gimping.
2-ton: i like the colouring you chose and the flat composition and i think that's probably most people's innermost desire - certainly mine, though i sometimes forget about it in the toil of daily life.

To be honest, this was a hard subject, and it's very interesting to see such diverse ideas about it.

@Griatch - you are quite right about making comments, so I apologise to those contributors above for not doing so.

I am enthusiatic about these 'random art prompts' because they start me thinking, trouble is I can develop a focus on just one aspect of the prompt. Still, like my new avatar, back to the hippie days, although I still believe strongly in the message ...

@ 2-ton, glad you like. No special effect. I just used a few of the layer effects for the text. Like is in a few of Conbagui's tuts. (Never looked at them before I had done a couple) I didn't use inner shadow or glow & outer glow though. The only overlay I did was a pattern (pool bottom) The only thing that gives a little glow I think, was the pillow emboss.

sallyanne: it was, most people seem to have watched it. we didn't, but i had an interesting chat at after-church-coffee about what the principal guests were wearing, so i'm going to have a look at that now .
