oldmangrumpy: it sure takes you places - some of them less pleasant, don't know how much i like the sound of that snakemoon! i like the composition and the nice glow, though. the small planet might be a bit too shiny smooth to fit in, but on the other hand i like that marble ball look, it looks like a bead and beads are some of my favourite things...

You need to look much the behaviour of lights and reflections in the real world to implement it rightly in the creative and fantasy world.

The sea mists were just starting to enclose the Norwegian fjord as a brilliant full 'wolfmoon' rose right across the sea entrance, sending ultrasonic signals to all those wolves left in the wild ...

oldmangrumpy: i love this one! not only because the fjords of norway speak to my scandinavian pride, but because i love the atmosphere in this nocturnal scene. nice work on the moon glow and soft reflection and i hope the wolves will annswer their supersonic call over to norway and stop bugging us swedes....

It is a quiet, still and clear night on our local Northern Beaches peninsular and the Masked Owl Moon rising above the rocky peninsular beaches, hoots its silent message to all other night birds ...



... how one of Marcello's lighthouses happened to turn up on our Aussie peninsular, I do not know!

Now it seems these fjords and mountains are from another universe as there are 2 moons rampant together ...

The green moon reminds me of Mogo of the Green Lantern Corps (even though Mogo isn't green. lol).

oldmangrumpy: that two moon thing looks very pleasing! it might not be entirely realistic that the two moons light up eachother, but i'm sure the people of the two-moon world don't miss realism as long as they get all the tourists .
i must have missed when you posted the owl moon - the owl worked very naturally together with the moon.

Very atmospheric Oldmangrumpy! You evoke a real sense of mysticism with these images. I particularly like the Owl Moon, although I would suggest putting in more of a reflection of the Owl Moon in the water?
