Thanks Erisian, Odinbc and Sallyanne - maybe paths and brushes will appear soon in Paisley Land!

But everything here is paisley, the tablecloth, the plate (remember plates Sallyanne?) and even chocolate biscuits with paisley patterned icing ...

That is really cool OMG. You have got a real good way of putting things together to make them look great.

Thank you Sallyanne - Paisley Land is a wonderful fantasy paradise; so I went to the Paisley Land acquarium (seeing that subject they are in focus in other current threads) ...

Come on Anmal tell me where is the key to get out of here ... :)

Ah at last I found the way out not just from Paisley Land but from the Paisley Universe, a strange place with Paisley Sun in the centre and where paisley patterned planets orbit on a paisley patterned heavenly metro system ...

Can you guess which planet I favor most?

So one last home grown paisley pattern creation to conclude my paisley adventure - I had fun. Thanks for the comments.

Odinbc & Matera - thank you; I want to stop 'paisleying' but I can't

... so here are some paisley pattern pearls, in paisley shape shells in a paisley carton ...

Well I really did think I had escaped from paisley land, but it keeps drawing me back ... but I am still learning a lot about GIMP, especially about paths ... so here are a couple more variations on the paisley theme ...

Oh and congrats to the USA football team in winning the women's world cup in such stunning fashion.

oldmangrumpy: i'm allowing myself exactly one post on gimp chat today (i badly need to finish some projects before me and erisian leave for our trip north) and you are going to get it - i hope you take that as a compliment and not a threat :hehe

i LOVE your paisley land thread, i don't think there's anything you've posted in here that doesn't make my eyes smile. great job on that path paisley, i think that really makes you king of paisleys here on gimp chat (at least for now, i'm sure there will be plenty of people ready to compete with you for the title). if i was to pick a favourite among the other new pictures it would probably be the paisley flower because the colours and composition appealed to me, but the paisley patterned pearls in paisley shaped shells are a very creative invention and look amazing too. all in all it seems you have a fan in sweden
