She could be Griatch's Jester's evil relative! The eyes look good, only thing I'd say is the one on our left looks like it's shaped to bend down, and the other one bent to be more cat-like...It could be the angle of the face though.
I think the hair could be a little more detailed in some way, like a small braid or something, as it is now (to me) it seems to be more of a frame than a part of her. I love the background (how it looks, not the fact there is death and destruction! :hehe), very well done.

Good work! :D

erisian: i loved watching this grow out of that eye sketch you started with and i love the result. my favourite elements in it are theface decorations, the reflections on her face from all the decorative death and destruction in the background and the composition with her face cut off and her hair framing her face. this half-stylised way of painting suits you, in my opinion. something that struck me now i saw it on my phone but didn't see at all on your laptop screen is the way her left cheek gets a markedly pointed shape while her right cheekbone is more rounded.
you're an inspiration to be around right now, nice new pictures just flow from your tablet.

There are issues with the angle of the face ie. the eyes, nose and mouth are all at different angles. Even at the intended angle though, you are right - the eyes are a little out. I have to learn to flip my canvas more often when painting to find inaccuracies early on. I have good reason to avoid painting detailed hair - I haven't the faintest clue how to! :hehe

I enjoyed painting the bling piece by piece - it gave me a break from the main picture. I think that I will design bling whenever I am not painting anything else and store it up for future paintings. The cheekbones are exaggerated - evil women are often depicted that way although I should have been more careful. Actually, the bottom of her hair was once her other cheekbone. You are an inspiration to me too AnMal, you have incredible talent.

Which version of GIMP do you paint in? 2.6 or 2.8?

I use 2.6 because 2.8 lags badly when using a graphics tablet and the tool sliders are impossible.

Ah okay. I have both and making hair in 2.6 is easier but I don't like the aggravation of switching between MyPaint and 2 GIMPs. xDD

I'll see if I can maybe put a little thing together. I don't do hair like a pro but maybe it'll be useful.
