I started drawing some cartoons--mostly as a means to get a regular artistic workout and draw things I don't normally do (like animals). I'm trying to stick to one a week. Here are a couple.

The first one has been the most popular.

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.

That's a great idea merrak. A lot of my ability comes from looking at cartoons to simplify the initial steps of painting. Being able to draw shadow faces is very useful as it helps to pinpoint the main features without drawing outlines. Good luck with your new adventure.

merrak: i love the cat cartoon! actually, i liked the top one better at first sight, because the composition works better, but i like the cat one better the more i think of it. i'm sure that's how cats think! they really want to know what it would be like to poop on the couch. and some of them make sure to find out as well.

Thanks, everyone! :D

If anything else, I seem to be drawing a lot more animals than I usually do.

Milton has pooped on the couch a few times. Now he's no longer my usericon :P (He still is on DeviantART, though)

I still don't have gray hair, but I haven't had a haircut in over 5 years.
