Very nice, Lyle. Is this another Binge, or the continuation of the previous one? Either way, I like it.

Used Shapeism and added some embellishments. Just felt compelled to do this one Pat and appreciate the comments. Yours too, Wallace. :)

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.

Part of the embellishments were using Artshop's Irridescent filter; one of the few PS filters that still right fine in GIMP via PSPI. Someone here shared the link to that filter a while back; too lazy to look it up at the moment. :)

edit:

OK; got over my lazyness. lol

Yes; filter is free. :)

Lyle,
I wanted to try G'MIC shapeism, but on my PC seems to be slow (for an image 1000*1000 it takes minutes, not seconds). My environment is Gimp 2.8.16, G'MIC 1.6.9.

How fast (or slow) is it on your PC?

Tell me about it Diego; that's what TV and browsing the internet's for (time killer). lololol

Want to say this one took over 10 minutes but I really didn't stopwatch it. Patience, grasshopper, patience. lolol

Can you tell I watched a lot of Kung Fu back in the day. Even watched the Legend Continues too.

Maybe one day David can figure out a way to take advantage of GPU acceleration. He eventually did add multip-processor support. :)

...thus G'MIC is like a spot for TV !
this seems a bit in contrast with the comments when that filter came out ("very fast...."); did its performance degradate in the last releases?

No; G'MIC actually is much faster than when it first came out (was there even before the beginning using greycstoration plugin (precurser to G'MIC; that plugin was just a one pony filter; think of it as a powerful anisotrophic smoothing filter). G'MIC is 1000s of time more powerful. Only reason why you would think it's slower is folk are creating more challenging presets that use it's underlying power. :)
