This is Sylen Benevolen, the main guy in my digital comic project. Painted in Gimp with a Wacom tablet. Any critiques would be most welcome - thanks.

Wow; I'm really jealous of you, Moko, Griatch, Erisian, and a few others. Wish I could free paint, but alas, I'm a filter guy. lol

@Pat625: Thanks Pat, I can't draw a straight line without a ruler either! I have however spent many hours practicing drawing anatomy in recent months.

@Conbagui: Thanks Conbagui, I really enjoyed putting on the copper detailing on his belt and boots

Excellent work Artloader. I assume you used reference? I really ought to use more but I'm too lazy! :hehe

@Erisian: Thank you my friend - yes I usually spend at least 10% of my time hunting down references. I used about 4 different references to inform my work on this one (torso, trousers, belt and boots).
