You have not only captured her appearance but also her personality. Great!
About the aborigines, I always learn a little more history with you. I like to see part of the lattice through the circle lines.
Very well done. :clap

Issabella - thank you; you are always so kind in the way you appreciate my work :)

Was playing with bowl making for my blog post, so continued the operation for GC; well why not?

It "could" have been an excellent outcome.
Very good colours and composition.
Perspective, light and shadows should be improved (if you want to...)

Diego - thanks for your comments/appraisal. Oh dear, I thought I had applied the perspective/shadows/light OK, even taking the wall shadow into account. So please help me a bit more by pointing out the issues you found ... is it the far rim on the larger bowl for example, as I did modify that several times?

Here is another coloured, glassy bowl just floating in space.

Great bowls OMG, especially the last one, a beautiful design if it was real I'd want one.

Two suggestions:

1.the base of the front-end object
being closer to the observer has to have a higher ratio height/width (perspective)
2.the shadow of that object
it looks as if it were on a flat surface, but it has to "follow" instead the "distance" of each object portion it hits (a very difficult task, I admit, the only help could be to place on your table similar objects and have a look)

btw, the last bowl is very very nice, but -as I said- also the previous ones were very nice as far as colours and shapes is concerned)

Diego - thank you very much. Yes, I missed the base of the stand, as you point out and the shadows of the bowl on a stand ... well yes now I get it, the shadow of the bowl on a stand must basically follow the contours that it hits. I did try that on the wall but not on the bowl in between it and the wall.

Again, thanks, I appreciate your critique and feedback ... never stop learning :)

Mahvin - thank you, glad you like it.

Beautiful glass Elvis image, OMG! Had he lived, he would have been 85 years old this year.

Diego, Pat, Issabella and level_0 - well it looks like Elvis still lives in people's minds; thank you all.

level_0 - I got the background from the web somewhere and it is shiny in the first place, although I did brighten it up a little with an overlay in the Elvis image. I have posted it below if you want to play with it.

Currently using one of my favourite ladies Maminydjama (Magnolia) Maymuru in a series of images; first image is one of her traditional roles as 'keeper of the lands', using two photos I took in The Kimberley last year, one desert view, one river view blended. Then, given I'm on a mosaic journey right now, she also features on a mosaic plate and then in glass.
