He will be missed. I dont' think boxing has been the same without him. Really diminished in popularity. As a child, TV had a boxing match every Friday night and everyone would watch.

A character larger than life. Agree wholeheartedly with you Pat; there have been few (if none) like him. I too watched many a boxing match alongside my Dad.

I know 2-ton. Very sad about that. Way to many of the icons of my youth have passed this year alone. I suppose its just a consequence of me growing to old too.
