Earlier today I decided to play with a 3D cupboard made by another person and change a few things on it. I did not have the mesh maps so I have to play a bit. I liked the antique wood look he had so I left that for now. Maybe i will take some time another day and play with it a bit.

I made some decorative platters by hand today and I think they turned out better than I expected so I decided to share here. :) I added my pic of platter made in GIMP amd finished 3D cupboard. I retextured everything but the wood cupboard and there i just changed the knob color.

The plate looks real in the single pic, but the lighting in the cupboard makes the plates look like bowls to me...but still very realistic looking!

Nice work on the plate, Liana. It is very pretty. I like the china cupboard, too.

Thanks for the comments. :tyspin I see what you mean 2-ton that the plates look like bowls. :lol It does look like the pic on the cupboard when viewed in real life. Did that make sense?? Actually looking at the cupboard and not a picture of it. :)

My mom has some Prussian plates would be fun to make something like that only thing is they have holes in the edges of plates with the design. I can still do it in GIMP probably not able to in the mesh but that is alright. :)
