Thought i'd share this one

To create this gradient fading text. Use Scrolling animation logo script for GIMP (version 2) or version 3(just below v2 post)

Then create a bottom layer with same color as top layer.
Create gradient to scroll as middle layer.
Then cut out text on top layer so that gradient scrolling will show through.

Yes!! This is so neat. Thank you Tin. Hope you don't mind my playing with your art images again. I am having a lot of fun with these filters.
