Having a rest from adding kerning information to fonts to play. If anyone knows of a more brain-sapping job then please let me know!

Brain sapping job? Try georeferencing hundreds of images from no coordinate system to a modern version using a grid as a base: for each image. point and click eight times, then run a couple of commands in ArcGIS, then move on to the next image. It's right up there among kerning tables. :)

Must be worse.. Had to work with such manually-entered GIS data once, and the folks that produced it did a hatchet job, there were loops in the side of polygons that wreaked havoc with the geo-search functions in the database.

Looking smart thanks to Gimp: several years of coding Gimp scripts with paths gave me all the Python skills needed to write a short script that would detect and fix such loops.
