Seems that over filtered images are all the rage around here. I'm not a fan, but here's my crack at it. I used so many filters and blending modes, that I forgot what I did on this Eagle I shot last week...

hehe, "overfiltered images" :). i actually quite like your eagle image, but i'm more impressed with the fact that you got close enough to a real live eagle to take a picture of it!

A long zoom lens helps, but I've gotten to within 10 feet (3 meters) of a young Eagle eating the fish he just caught. I got some great video footage of it too.

I like your 2 results RacerX.
After a long restoration of every family slide and photo it seems I prefer the 'artistic' (overfiltered)
side of Gimp.

I tend to use filters to achieve a certain result, such as this very sinister looking Eagle.
