I shared my source's site link before but it's been a while. All images at the site are free to use. Been using this guy's images for years. :)

I must be running a different version of voronoi, because it doesn't know the -n command line option.
It only knows -a, -s, -t, -I, -O and -l.
It doesn't know -p, -n or -z.

Looks cool and organic, Diego. Is this a result of your recent quest? :)

Hey Lyle,
Could you share the version of Voronoi.exe that you used? Mine uses different command line options.

Sorry for my belated reply, Greg; I work weekend swings (4 10 hour shifts) so just got home around 30 minutes ago (had to go to Wally's world to get my boy some cat food). Anyway, first some interesting information below; used the Traveling salesman (Concorde) program to create the single fill render by the way.

Since Salience's site's no longer, I went to the wayback machine: http://web.archive.org/web/201610172248 ... index.html

Unfortunately, you no longer appear to be able to download the program either so hope I'm not breaking rules by sharing the program here. :)

Lyle, I do not understand how to use the Voronoi program. I have searched and could not find any instructions for it. Do you know where I can find instructions?

Also, below's a batch file that I use; I created it in the default voronoi directory and created a shortcut to my desktop which I do a drag and drop of my png file onto the shortcut. :)

voronoi -p 2 -n -s 3600 -t .2 -z 1  %1 %1.svg

The thread below should help, but, be warned that the Traveling Salesman stuff is complicated and off topic as far as you are concerned but the thread does have (if I recall) information concerning Voronoi Stippler that might be of help. :)

OK; just PMed you which gave me the motivation to try to do a voronoi stipple (haven't done so since I recovered my PC a bit over a month ago). Well, it didn't work. I ended up having to install the x86 version (installed the 64-bit version to no avail) for the C++ redistribution library which I got from Microsoft. Well, at least it worked (installed 2017 64-bit and 2010 64-bit too but those libraries didn't work; was already at the 2010 page so installed 2010 32-bit library and now my Voronoi stippler program works again). What a pain. So, if you get missing vcomp100.dll error, this is the reason. :)

And why not some play now that I've installed nearly all the visual c++ libraries to figure out what was needed to get this program working again. lolol

:)

my problem is that when I doubleclick the vorokoi exe ,it opens a cmd window (i think) which disappears in nanoseconds
and nothing else happens
I had also the c++ sp already installed
