While on vacation in Portugal, I visited a Winery. Here are some images modified with G'Mic's "Brushify":

Looks like you missed the forest fires in Portugal and the terrorism in Spain. Maybe your an American born in Portugal?
My father was Czech, my mother Australian and I was born in NZ. I just discovered I am also a NZ citizen but have lived in Australia all my life. They have something called 'citizenship by descent' so my son is a dual citizen. :cool

No, I'm Portuguese with a little Spanish mix. My family migrated to the US when I was 5 years old. I don't think Portugal will let you leave citizenship, so I believe I am dual-citizen USA/Portugal. That might be a good thing because I'm seriously considering buying a home or condo in Portugal like many of my brothers and sisters did.

That's a nice situation to be in.
The brushify filter works well on the winery photos. Applying filters lightly seems to be the best way to use them.
I remember seeing an exhibition of Salvadore Dali original paintings that was travelling the world. He was technically an excellent painter or a 'photorealist'.
I never really understood surrealism but maybe you were not meant to. :hehe
