Here's a pot I created in Blender, created the pattern in Gimp, UV mapped in UV Mapper classic, rendered in Daz Studio and added background in Gimp.

Thanks everybody. I would like to say that Blender isn't so difficult when you know how but I think that applies to everything so it goes without saying

I agree, so realistic! I think you have mastered Blender.

Thanks Pat. There is still a lot to learn-the same as with Gimp. There is always something you don't know yet, but it's coming. :)

Erisian - hope you do not mind but, as I am currently doing your faces tutorials and I think the light/shadow concepts are common, I also tried to copy your Autumn Pot in GIMP :)

That's the way to go. Use as many programs as you like and get proficient with as many as possible. A message I heard recently is that the future is video. The big corporations like Alphabet know that and not many people are arguing with it. :clap

Beautiful work OMG. I really like the floor.

Thanks Tas. Sometimes a particular program will do something easier than the program I'm working in so I jump about a bit. I'll probably bring Krita into it too. It has a beautiful multi-transform tool that will be good for warping photo textures to the shape of the UV maps.
