I first created Loga as a painting here:

http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6860&hilit=daemon+warrior#p86340

but when AnMal asked for a story, she started to take on a life of her own

http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7002&hilit=sharadil#p88542

Now she has become something of an obsession and I had to create her in Daz studio. The skin texture came from the original painting put through FaceGen Artist software and exported to Daz. The final render was opened in Gimp and the background, hair and wings were painted and some texture added to the wings.

Erisian: Loga has a strong personality in all the paintings you've made of her and I'm so impressed that you could transfer some of that to the 3d render as well.

You guys are really productive this year. Keep it up. I'm commenting while a 3D fractal renders on the same machine. Everytime I change a slider takes 6 minutes to render. Just keep doing the art. :clap

Reminds me kinda like a mixed media collage portrait only digital. Cool!

I think this one will become the definitive Loga with a little more work

Very cool Erisian, I love the pointy hairstyle and face art.

It is always intriguing when a piece of visual art is accompanied by a back story and this one sounds rich and deep.

Nice work my friend!

Thank you Artloader. :) The story in my head goes really deep but I'm lazy at writing so I will probably just do it in bits and pieces as I create imagery. :)

Erisian - excellent, but for a moment I thought it was the ex Aussie wicket keeper Adam Gilchrist ;)
