I like the the gold effect, but on my monitor they look very dark. Turning up the brightness did not help.

I am not Pat, but both pictures look better than the first ones on my monitor. The first ones looked a bit dark to me, too. But, I do not have optimal conditions I guess in terms of light and adjustment of monitor.

The gold parts are beautiful. It stands out so clearly. But the dark parts are so that I cannot tell what is around the structure that is gold. Maybe it is just me, but the image really is beautiful.

I like the golden emboss results a lot. The first results seem a bit dark but it's when more beautiful the golden emboss parts are shown contrasting with the rest.
The girl in 11st posted is beautiful. The whole image has a nice balance look, too.

Obviously, the user can also do some preprocessing step before applying the gold look, but I didn't do it, only modified a bit the golden flow.
