I have actually used patterns before to fill text. Today I tried a rendering to get a firey look. most of you will be able to tell what it is

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.

Thankyou Issabella. Do you know what the pattern was that I filled it with (It's under render)? (The font was a firey one). I also put a bit of the same pattern in the fires around the edge.

I'm thinking it's Render > Lava.

I hope I didn't ruin a surprise or anything,

I really like the effects created in those two images, Sallyanne! The fire effect is a bit dramatic, but just the right amount. :yes :hi5
