These are some of my favorite pictures I've shot. Most are edited in Gimp. I then made a slideshow in ShotCut.

Very cool video and the soundtrack was well chosen. I'm a big fan of raptors. I saw a white hawk in my backyard the other day.
The hawk was hunting other birds and had no fear of humans.
We still see wedge-tailed eagles circling on updrafts but they are too high to photograph.

Great video! :)

I wish there was a hawk in my town to stop the excessive breeding of pigeons!

I agree with above! You have much skill as a photographer. I love your photos, especially of the eagles. We have plenty of hawks around here but I haven't seen an eagle for a long time.

Nice collection of raptors and other fowl, racer-x. As the fisherman needs to always be aware of these aeronautical thieves. lolol

Thanks for all the compliments guys.

That fishermen shot was pure luck. The Osprey caught the fish about 50 yards away and flew right past the guys fishing on the boat. I think he was showing off his big catch.

Excellent assortment of pictures, the photos clearly illustrate
your photography talents.

Here in Maine the bald eagle population during the past 2 decades
have gone from almost negligible to fairly commonplace.

There are now nesting bald eagles along the primary rivers throughout Maine.

Thanks for sharing with the community.

Nice shots man. 3:40 was cool sitting on the cable and there was also a crow.
We have lot of crows for sure, but I don't get to see eagles in my dwelling area only hawks sometimes.

That cable is a power line that crosses the river to the High Tension towers. Often an Osprey will perch on the cable and look down for fish to catch. It beats constantly hovering overhead. I've only seen Osprey sit on the power lines, not Eagles for some reason.
