Believe I have the magic recipe for creating stained glass, now. Of course I had to heavily depend of Eye Candy Glass preset for the glassy result. Found out you can run this preset without error by locking the transparent layer (happy accident). :)

Nice outcome, but it could be even more attractive (at least for me) if feasible using only Gimp and Gmic...

A site had permission to share a very old version of eyecandy several years back. I had posted the link here but now I cannot find it (searched for eye candy here at GIMPChat but for not). Link lost to time, sadly. If I do run across the site, I'll share. Eye Candy plugin still works with PSPI (i.e., natively runs in the GIMP). :)

edit: I believe I found the link here, but it doesn't appear that I shared it; it was someone else. :)

Another side note (since I tested it in my VM), it also installs EyeCandy 4000 which is not free; don't use this plugin; just use EC3. :)

Are you using Windows 7 or windows 10
I have tried placing Eye Candy 3 in PSPI in gimp portable 2.10.6 32 bit.
No luck it will not work.
Any help would be appreciated.
