Went out tonight and shot the Pink Moon. I shot this hand held, not too shabby.

Thanks guys. My new lens has a good image stabilizer and that helped a lot, as did the 500 shutter speed. The moon was shot at 600mm. The camera is 10 years old, but she's a good old girl and may end up being the last DSLR camera I own. The Moon surface detail was better than I expected.

I can't wait to shoot some Eagles with this lens, but unfortunately the park is closed because of Covid-19 and don't know when it will open again. It sucks not having anything decent to shoot.
