Ever seen one of these prismatic halos on streetlamps at night ?
Thats what i was trying to recreate.

That's bulb? I haven't even thought about the differences of old bulb lights and leds, and you don't see much bulb lights anymore.
Can't remember if I have seen prism halo on the street lamp but I have seen huge halo around the moon and it was awesome.

Nice effect, I would make the prism halo much smaller and use zoom motion blur.

Something like that, i dont know how its created, it might be related to my windows being dirty, which somehow refracts the light.



Not sure what you mean. Why smaller ?

It was actually quite difficult to get it like that. Lots of layers, filtering, Layer Modes.
There is a point in the process when you loose control and you cant go back and just change a detail you dislike, sadly.
