Just visiting. Just saying Hello and using up another few seconds of my 15 minutes. Very old digital photo of Rivanna River, Albemarle County, Virginia, literally my "front yard" at the time. Some years later, Photoshop effect created the circle. Left a huge white space in the center of everything. Looked sort of like a spaceship or a time machine and I called it "Just Visiting." Some years later boosted the colors with a GIMP-made CLUT. Some years even later, bringing us up to yesterday, filled the white-space area with a reduced square-to-circle effect of the full image. And about an hour ago used Diego's Free Paint plug-in, landscape preset, and decided I was done with this one. At this rate ...

A very nice image created over a long period of time. :bigthup

I've been experimenting with the 'quincuncial filter' which was invented by American Charles Peirce in 1879.
"It can be tiled ad infinitum on the plane". 140 years later I found it can be animated.
Of course, this is just a blip in time, like all of us.

Tas_Mania, I only managed to get three unmoving versions of the same image in the same plane, so I've still got a long way to go. But I've got goals now.
