On a scale from 1-10, how realistic would you rate this stamp effect?
I used Distorts/Newsprint line pattern, because real stamps can't have gradients and the halftone looked bad.

I'd rate 1 for the 1st one and 8 for the 2nd. Here's one I just made using Color To Alpha. Probably should've painted it all black first though.

First wasn't stamp. It was just the newsprint pattern effect that I used to create the rubber stamp.
It's there for comparison.
Yeah, your looks like a grunge wall painting because it's not bw. But it's nice!

I'm waiting for more ratings, to get it right.

Just curious. I was looking at some of my actual rubber stamps, and most of them are outline images. Wouldn't the Wilber stamp look more realistic if the head was outlined?

That's right mahvin. Most of the time outline is being used but it depends on the logo, a frame around text block is also common.
I didn't have outlined vector version of the 2.6 Wilber, that's why I used newsprint lines pattern.
The laser engraver I'm using accepts vector graphics and b/w pixel images, the first violet pic is actual imprint on paper that was scanned.
If you have an idea post it and I will engrave it tomorrow.
