"A Thoughtful Sidestep" will be my album of paintings for 2020-2021. It starts with Fall Girl.

Should be interesting to see.

A Dark Face. Quick and sketchy but I like the results.

These look great, Erisian; particularly like Spirit of Autumn. :)

Thanks Lyle. :) I surprised myself with Spirit Of Autumn. I think that for some time now, I have been accepting lower quality painting than I am capable of but joining the Krita artists forum has been an inspiration to me. I suppose technically it shouldn't be in Gimp Art because it wasn't painted in Gimp but I want to keep my paintings together if possible. :paint

Agreed, the spirit of Autumn is very nice, like how you did the fiery hair to resemble the maple leaves.

She's got to be the Green Man's favorite girl.

Erisian, I like them all but I must agree that the "Spirit of Autumn" is really my favorite! Your colors are brilliant.

I did this one for the Krita Artists Forum Halloween Mask challenge. The brief was to create an alter-ego with a halloween mask of your own design. I'm a nature lover and a musician so The Spirit Of Life seemed a reasonable option. I had a lot of trouble with AnMal's talons so I left them out. (She insisted on being in the painting as a raven)

I love Autumn too. The smell, the look, everything. I was also born in Autumn, maybe there is a connection. :hehe

Beautiful work.
