experimenting on drawing effects: style M

After a pause, taking advantage of the fact that today is the Epyphany (Befana in Italy), my "gift" to Gimp-chatters is a new experiment in drawing effects.
The base effect is derived by RobA Borders-Inward_repeat technique (which I often use), then there could be a top over-imposed effect of one of 3 G'mic effects:
"whirls"
"turbolent halftone"
"seamless turbolence"
Below my first triplet ot outcomes:

Usually the process places the source image as base of the textures created.
But if the user like to create some abstract/surreal outcome there is the possibility to indicate the BG or FG color or the active pattern as the base.
Here two examples:
- one with a flat colour
- another one with a patterm

(Which could be also the option used by Issabella in her last outcomes, if the word "pattern" in the outcome name has a literal sense)

At the extreme end, the user may choose to produce the outcome without a base and without a top G'mic texture, thus pure RobA "borders inward repeat" effect (a cartographic look).

Some-times, when manipulating a portrait, it's better to reduce the visibility of the strokes on the face painting over the provided mask.

Some other time, the mask feature can be used to let the bright areas emerge better on the final outcome.

A triplet using the same preset except the top G'mic effect, which is exactly what changes among the 3.
The common choices are:
- 15 poster areas
- source as background
- gray-copy mask

No over-painting on the mask.

Yes, level_0, you're perfectly right, but since years I'm fond of RobA BIR (borders inward repeat).
Maybe it's time to use that one...
