Experimented with doing pixel art. This was drawn on a 90x128 pixel canvas (the small version is how it'd look on screen). It was done in Krita, but I did the up-scaling in GIMP to show more details.

One could use this style for animating a game character, for example.

Thanks for the comments everybody. :) One does see a lot of pixel-art games these days. The 'retro'-look is in. It also has some advantages when it comes to animation.
