Each person can feel the importance of this day whatever her/his "colour" is: that event and what will follow in two days from now is for every person: death and resurrection.

Nice interpretation of the colours, Diego.
And I also see a rainbow in it, symbolising the bridge between heaven and earth, connection between the earthly and the divine.
A protective dome over the sorrow and joy of mankind.
