My entry for the Random Art Prompt (which has to do with a sentimental pendant) lead to a little one-page snippet fitting into my experimental (and pretty weird) comic Where Red Apples Lie.

Drawing in black & white (and red) is quite different from my usual style, it's fun to experiment with. The recurring "Unknown Girl" from this story is also an interesting protagonist since unlike my Jester she's very somber and (at least so far) never speaks.

Done in Krita for artwork and Inkscape for lettering.

Like how the red contrasts with the mono, Griatch. Again, you are a master of Chiaroscuro, too. :)

Very nice.
Any "mystery" embedded also in the "posterized" lights and shadows?

Thanks for the comments! This is a rather specific style.

Thanks :D With solid black and white like this, chiaroscuro becomes sort of the way to go.
