Random Art Prompt II (next deadline Sunday Dec 12)

This is a reboot of my old Random Art Prompt (RAP) thread from a few years ago that eventually covered almost 60 pages of posts. The difference is that I will run this RAP every two weeks rather than every week like the old one. I also use a different random prompt site.

Here's what's going on:

Every two weeks (approx) I go to http://artprompts.org, to get a "random art prompt" from one of the categories (I'll roll a dice which category).
I'll post the prompt and deadline in this thread. If you want to take part, your job (and mine) is to, inspired by this prompt, make a (new) image until the deadline.
We can interpret the art prompt any way we want. There is no right or wrong and no competition.
We post our result as a reply in this thread (we can of course also post it elsewhere). It's fun (but not mandatory) if we explain briefly how the prompt inspired us. It's also nice if we give a friendly comment on other entries.
If you don't finish until I post the next prompt, no worries - just post when done, noting which prompt it goes with. Or better - post what you've got and remember the lessons until next image!
Our work could be a doodle, a quick sketch, a partial or full work, all goes.
We can use any art technique (painting, drawing, photography, filters, collages, photo-manipulations etc). We can use any program or even scan traditional artwork.
The only real requirement is that we make something new based on the given prompt - just reposting old stuff that happens to fit defeats the point of this exercise!

A nice take on the prompt!
I like the slight surface structure of the canvas here, makes it looks like an older image/drawing style. She looks quite grumpy, like she's about to go off on an epic rant about something!

My entry for the Red-Haired Viking girl RAP! For once I'm in good time for the deadline! Since vikings are usually depicted as brutal marauders, I wanted something brighter. Click for DA version.

Brilliant drawings by both of you. I cannot even find a public domain pic that I can 'filter'.

Can't draw one (cept a stick figure) so that would be all I do.

ok, here is a stick figure for you. Honestly don't think I'd have the patience or time, to do a good drawing.

That's well beyond a stick figure, looks quite impish with that sword.

Trying things one didn't originally plan to do is what a RAP is all about - being creative in any capacity is already a big win, no matter the outcome.

I started working in Bryce 3D and Daz Studio then finished the composition in Gimp and made improvements and ran Dream Smoothing. I wanted to overpaint it but I have started full-time support and matching to try and get a job so I don't think I am going to have enough time and energy. This is the result so far.

Interesting combination of tools and a nice result too. I like the lighting on the face, for being a 3D rendered face it looks pretty 'alive'! Her outfit (and the landscape) gives me an Icelandic vibe.

Hope it is OK to post a second image. This time it's a fantasy at the museum, where the red haired Viking girl has left her exhibit, is lost in time and finds herself in another era of Nordic exploration and adventure.

A second image is perfectly fine of course. A fun concept, always good with a little story to go with the image. I like the softness to her expression here compared to many of the other faces I've seen you draw.

That's some colorful sewer tunnels! One can certainly make out every little detail. The geometry of the tunnels to the right is curious - two tunnels meeting inside a larger vault. Very cool.
