There used to be a kid in our neighborhood that played with matches. Somehow he started a fire and burned off all of his fingers. I think the whole family were idiots because one of his cousins stuck a fire cracker in his ear. You could always spot the Nelson boys because they were missing fingers or ears.
You've got me interested in this Poincare process now, I'll have to start fooling with it.

Those folk do sound a little inbreddy GMS. lol

Anyway, you can check the recent Poincaré thread for all the dirty details. Bill (creator of the open source utility that I used) even joined our forum and posted there. :)

Is it a gimp plugin or stand alone? Nothing happens when i try yo start it so i tried putting it in my gimp plugins folder but i don't see it listed anywhere in gimp.

Its a stand-a-lone and you need to run it at the command prompt. I did create a batch file which made it easier to work with. :)

Hopefully a binary comes out soon for Gimp that would be cool.Or maybe David could throw one into GMIC? :)
I can wish! It is fun to play with though.

Bill did say he would try to do a gui for his cool gem. A GIMP Plugin has an advantage in that the gui interface is already there so maybe Bill will do it as a GIMP Plugin (yes, I can wish too Mahvin; lol). Not sure is G'MIC will work exactly since the placement of objects really need to be precise (for my needs anyway; right now I port the mask inside GIMP and create the target using that mask as a template in GIMP; might really be the only way to do this). :)
