This is a true mandala where the first post was actually a kaleidoscope.

Oh good, I would hate to break any rules... the joys of being a newbie. I can see your wife using kaleidoscope patterns to quilt with as that is very popular. When I have kids visiting I create black and white versions and let them colour them with coloured pencils.

Have you found the symmetry painter Angela? I know you could make it do wonders. Most of us were ignorant that it was even included now, until one member made us aware a couple years ago.

SallyAnne, if you never told me about it just now I doubt I would have ever found it. I have played with it a couple of times but I think it's going to take me a bit to really figure it out. This is my second try at it.
