Very nice. I don't suppose he can feel the temperature of the water with his toes/claws?

That will be the troll, fishing through a hole in the ice, with the vaette salivating in the background, or small footsteps in the snow between the fish basket and a bush where a few pointy hats can be made out. :)

Hope it caught enough to sustain itself for the up and coming winter, Griatch. lol

Nicely done; yes, am off today for a change (holiday). Still no inspiration, though; glad you still have it, Griatch. :)

I love the lose sketchy style. I wish I knew how to loosen up.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I painted this 'zoomed out' mostly; I guess it looks even 'looser' when seen at scale like this.

Probably not, but either way he probably want to sit quite still to not scare the fish!

Thanks, wanted to get the colors of the season right.

Ol' Blackback the troll is a long standing character of mine, and yes, he's a bit of a comic relief character :)

That reminds me, I do have that Christmas card to do ... :)

Haha, I can tell you know my Christmas card style by now!

Thanks! It's fun to play with colors and light like this. And yeah, could be something is nibbling at that bait!

I'm sure ol' Blackback will be fine! I've not been super-active with my artwork either lately, been doing mostly programming actually ... but it's good to get back into it now and then!

Hi Moko, long time no see! I mainly worked very zoomed-out for this one, so the 'looseness' disappears if looking at it at some distance '_
