I've thought that I will post some of my graphic manipulations.
I can't hope for great results but it's fun for me and a bit to try to stimulate my imagination, too. :)

I thought it would be cool to see a mocked-up cross-stitch.

After scaling it down in GIMP, then upped the contrast
I used my cross-stitch mock-up tool.
