Hello, we all know I make GEGL plugins for Gimp and that is what caused me to get serious attention in FOSS land. But not many people have seen the art work I make in Gimp. Well now you can, as this thread is dedicated to my Gimp artwork. Here is where I will post my Gimp art and classic projects. Not all of these are art, some of these are exercises done in Gimp. But all are made by me. Keep that in mind.

It's really good to see some of your work. I often feel like GC users are either coders and script and plug-in writers or creative users so it is refreshing to see this. I think my favourite one is the elephant cat.

Dandi Doggy was made back in early 2022 when I wrote GEGL syntax to style text.

This was a study on glowing objects I did back in March 2022

The content in the cup was originally green and I recolored it to show off my gimp skills. This was from April 2022 - a month before my first GEGL plugin.

This is a study I was doing back in April 2022 with cell shade styles and halftone and stars backgrounds

Fun fact, back in April 2022 I first considered looking at GEGL's source code with the idea of allowing drop shadow to run twice.
