I'm not really big into sci-fi, but I couldn't resist making another one of these. This one is ``Creation of the Universe''.

Image

Like the fractal planet drawing, this one is mostly ``mouse work'' - except for the silhouette.

Well, I love Sci-Fi and this is a great image! Adding a little color to the grey "masses", coming from the planet, could give it some more realism. I like complimentary colors, so maybe some reds or oranges. The yellow on the planet edges could be bumped up a touch, but this is only my opinion. I am by no means an expert.

Thanks

The ``masses'' aren't anything in particular... I didn't think to color them for that reason. But giving them some orange/red hues sounds like a good idea... if for anything else, just to add some complimentary colors. I'll give it a try :)

The ``planet'' is intended to be a ``hole'', of sorts, in the universe... an undefined region from which everything originated. But, to be honest, I just drew a blob and thought it looked neat. I figured out the interpretation later. Usually I don't even start drawing until I have an entire plan set out. This time I just let my mind wander freely, then figured out some sense to make of what came out. It does give me a good idea for a planet scene, though.
