If you uploaded it in here, can you tell me the full name of the file such as myfile.png or whatever?

Greetings pirate541.

I see that you uploaded and added an attachment as well.

Here's the image you uploaded.

Image

Here is the screen you see when you upload an image directly to Gimp Chat.

Image

The 3rd red box highlights the link to your uploaded image.

http://gimpchat.com/files/53_myimage.png

It will already be wrapped in image tags.

If clicking submit doesn't insert the image into the post, you'll need to copy and paste it into the post. Don't close down the dialog until you've inserted or copied the image or you won't know where it is located. :hehe

You can manage your attachments from the User Control Panel, under Manage Attachments.

The attachment has to be attached to one of your posts for it to show up in your User Control Panel. Otherwise, it shows up in the Administrator's panel under "orphaned" attachments. I periodically delete "orphaned" attachments.

No problem. When attaching a file, you need to..

1) Browse to the file 2) Click "add the file" (comment optional) 3) Submit the post.

Hope that helps.
